Kellie N. Sellers writes emotionally rich contemporary and urban romances that keep readers up too late, laughing, cursing, and feeling every twist right along with her characters.

 

A storyteller at heart, her love affair with words started in childhood as an avid reader, grew into poetry as a teen, and led her to pen her first novel at twenty-one.

 

A proud native of the Washington Metropolitan area, Kellie believes stories have the power to connect, heal, challenge, and inspire. Creativity has always been at the center of her life—on the page and on the stage. In addition to being an author, she is a national award-winning dance choreographer, a dedicated federal employee with more than thirty-seven years of service, and the proud mother of two incredible daughters.

 

Kellie’s greatest inspiration—her she-ro, her mother, Ardella Dula Sellers—first opened the door to the worlds of reading and creative writing, planting the seeds for a lifelong passion. The Kellie Mafia is in homage to her as Ardella's kids and grandkids refer to themselves as "La Della Mafia"!
